Kandice Fields is a fine arts printmaker and artist who works from her home studio and print shop Crowstone Press. Her artistic journey began at the "Barn Studio of Art" under the tutelage of Pat Witt, where she discovered her passion for the arts and gained a sense of self that was critical to her artistic growth. Continuing her artistic education, Kandice pursued undergraduate and graduate studies at The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art. She is an Adjunct Professor at Rowan College of South Jersey and serves as the director of education at The Barn Studio of Art.
Kandice's work encompasses a variety of mediums and techniques, with lithography being her favorite. She has interned with the Brandywine Workshop and the Experimental Printmaking Institute, working with renowned artists such as Faith Ringold, David Driskell, and Hank Willis. Kandice's work is grounded in her love of storytelling, using images to connect her views of culture and nature in a narrative vein. Her work varies between printing, painting, drawing, or combining all three.
